Possibility of an EXTRA Event on Saturday, February 25th for a Maxifuel Winter Sprint Duathlon After receiving so many enquiries and emails for many of you looking to get an entry into the February 26th Duathlon which IS Sold Out - we have got the opportunity to make use of the Dorney Lake facilities and possibly organise a Sprint Duathlon Event on Saturday February 25th starting at circa 0930. We need 150 entries to make the event happen. Entries For The Second Maxifuel Winter Duathlon Has Now SOLD OUT!! Since opening its entries the Maxifuel Winter Series has been extremely popular, with lots of people entering into one or more races in the Series. Withthe First Maxifuel Winter Duathlon selling out so quickly it is great to say that the Second Maxifuel Winter Duathlon on the 26th February has also now SOLD OUT. SOLD OUTThere are still a small handful of entries left for the Maxifuel Winter 5km & 10km Run on the 26th February, but entries for this race will also be closing very soon. DON'T FORGET ENTRIES ARE STILL OPEN FOR THE NEXT WINTER RUN & DUATHLON EVENTS ON MARCH 25TH

We literally have about 15 entries left for the second Maxifuel Duathlon on February 26th left. We have had quite a few teams and clubs enter groups into the February event with Oxford vs Cambridge varsity taking place for the 2nd year running, plus James Beckinsdale - who heads up the Optima Race Team have just entered 10 of there development team to take part. Thames Open Water Swim Series - Competition Winners 2012Congratulations to all the winners below:Ian Collett, Mike Souter, Ian Panting, Simon Brimacombe, Paul Hardy, Kate Louise Hicken, Alice Wilson, Joanne Mallinson, Andrew Buckley & Paul Ramsay.In celebration of the new launch of the events a few weeks ago, we offered the opportunity to enter a competition for 10 swimmers to win individual entries to every swimming event in 2012. All the winners have been emailed to let them know, and we look forward to hearing how there preparation for the events goes over the coming months, as we all get closer to the open water swimming season 2012 and one of the biggest summers the UK and Thames Valley
