This will be one of the premier open water swimming events in the summer calendar. With two distances to choose from and open to all abilities.
This is a great opportunity to swim in the 2012 Olympic Rowing venue, which is not too deep, and is naturally filled from underground source. It is crystal clear and calm. |

| Spectators | The BIG South Swim makes for a spectacular day out. All the races are in a lap format so you get plenty of chances to see your athlete. You will be able to see the results/split times as they on the large screen. Red Bull will be handing their sports drinks all day so pull up a seat and enjoy the racing! |
| Other Details | Wetsuits are to be worn if you are unable to meet the swim times/cut off times indicated. If you are a member of the Open water swim Association then wetsuits are optional. |
