F3 Events was set up in 2006 to organise, operate and provide first class sporting events along the Thames Valley to aspiring athletes from complete beginners to elites. The team at F3 Events have nearly all raced at a high level in triathlon and cycling and understand the necessary requirements to implement a successful event.

Our mission is to provide recognisable and professionally managed events from grass roots upwards at an affordable level which is accessible to all.

The sporting world is continually growing, with more and more of the population looking to get fit and take up a challenge to provide that healthier lifestyle. It is this that makes it important to F3 Events that each and every event is a success and plays an active role in being an ambassador for sport along the Thames Valley now and in the future.

This has been demonstrated over recent years, with many events throughout the year being organised at the Olympic Rowing venue for 2012, Dorney Lake, in addition to receiving continued support from many local authorities, highways agency, rivers authority and environmental agency.

Most importantly this has been shown by the number of participants that continue to take part in F3 Events and business that want to get involved and play an active role in promoting the events.

Over the past few years, F3 Events have delivered more events in new locations that had never previously been used for sporting events, triathlons or open water swimming events.

Noticeable venues are in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Henley on Thames and Windsor, Berkshire.

Since these events have been organised, other events businesses have looked to copy and organise events on the same locations.

Noticeable locations and events that have provided a strong hold along the Thames Valley is Marlow - with the Open Water Swimming Events and triathlons. Henley On Thames at Shiplake College for both open water swimming and triathlon events and finally Royal Windsor at the foot of Windsor Castle where F3 Events organised the first ever open water swimming event.

All these events are based along the banks of the River Thames and are located on the same route that David Walliams used for his record breaking swim along the Thames in 2011.

Meet the team

Race Director - Keith Mulholland

Keith joined the team in early 2011 to assist in the operation management side of the events and brings a wealth of experience from all walks of his career. With many years teaching sport and running a personal training business, as well as competing in many swim, cycling, running and triathlon events, Keith has been able to understand the requirements to deliver a professional event and provide the participants with a positive experience, in achieving there goals, challenge set or time to complete an event.

Keith will be directing the events in 2012 and brings on board some new members in operations to move F3 Events forward to the next level and be the premier sporting events business along the Thames Valley.
