F3 Events proudly presents the 1st Maxifuel Nutrition Marlow Half Iron Distance Triathlon, a triathlon consisting of a river swim, cycling and running, taking place on Sunday June 24th 2012.

This will be the inaugral Half Iron Distance to be held in the River side town of Marlow and only the second event to ever take place over this distance along the Thames Valley.

The event is set to attract over 500 participants, as the world of endurance sports and triathlon creates massive demand for longer distance events over the shorter distances that have originally formed this great sport.

The swim will take place in the River Thames over a standard 1.9KM swim course that will be an out and back route.

The Bike will form part of the popular Marlow Olympic Distance Trialthon bike course and will cover 86km over a 2.5 Lap undulating, but fast course.

Finally the run will take in a fast and nearly all flat 4 Lap run course to create the best specator vantage points for everyone to see and cheer you on around to the finish line in front of Higginson Park and the Sir Steve Redgrave statue.
